Charthan House was established in 2001 by Managing Consultant Nigel Smith.
It is a pragmatic and realistic consultancy offering tailored HR advice. It specialises in providing Senior Management with improvements, efficiencies and transformations within the Human Resources and support functions. Charthan House offers a valid alternative of individual consultants or smaller specialist teams and focuses on delivering solutions.
Charthan House assists both large and small organisations with change initiatives, efficiencies and transformations.
Our consultants work with a wide range of organisations to make change happen. It focuses in Human Resources and other support functions both in the UK and globally. Whether they require a review of their processes, a systems implementation or a major business transformation with shared service centres, our consultants have practical experience and operational knowledge to support and drive these changes and achieve business focussed aims and objectives.
We ensure that skills and knowledge transfer is made to the client. We facilitate change using structured methodology and approaches to enable the client to realise benefits, thereby empowering the client to manage the change effectively and on a continuous basis.
Our consultants bring expertise from working within major organisations including Unysis, Novartis Pharmaceuticals and InHealth Netcare to Local and Central Government including the Ministry of Justice, Department of Health, the British Council, King's College Hospital and King's IFM, the Gambling Commission and Department of Education and Skills. Recent assignments have included O2 Telefonica, the Mayborn Group (home of tommee tippee), Boots Retail, Nottinghamshire, Cheshire and Northamptonshire police forces and the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
