Managed a portfolio of UK Projects in a Global ERP implementation programme, Efficiencies for HR (E4HR). Implemented Success Factors Applicant Tracking, L&D, Core HR and Time Off modules. Projects also included the development of benefits strategies, and associated solutions upgrades and integration programme.

Charthan House provided IT Delivery Management services for a portfolio of HR projects including Resourcing Transformation Shared Services Centre of Excellence, Performance Management, Talent Management and E-Learning. Worked closely with Senior HR and Finance Stakeholders to identify HR Target Operating Model (TOM), Business Change and re-structuring requirements.

Developed and presented Business Cases and project specific documentation for Steering Group. Delivery of a number of major strategic HR Transformation projects from initial conception, including RFI and RFP processes and vendor selection. Managed the development of the overall project plan, implementation and governance.

King’s IFM Interventional Facilities Management
This was a major new initiative to manage a wide range of interventional services, saving in excess of  £6 million in the first year, contributing to NHS cost savings.
Charthan House provided all levels of HR for the creation of King’s IFM and HR services to support a new business initiative. This included the management of a number of TUPE transfers of staff from King’s College Hospital to King’s IFM.

O2 Telefonica

Charthan House worked with the European Senior Leadership team to develop outsourced, shared service solution across six European countries.  Charthan House provided programme management and communications strategy the implementation of the Change programme. Delivered the people strategy detailing 'People Journeys' and transition across all sites. 

British Council

Provided programme management for the delivery of two key programmes within the Scale of Ambition portfolio. These  included a Business Transformation programmes and a People Strategy programme.

Charthan House provided programme management services to deliver a programme of HR projects within the HR Transformation workstream. Supplier analysis and solution recommendations. Projects included Talent Attraction, Talent Management, Performance Management, Management Information and Decision Intelligence.

Charthan House worked closely with HR Directors and key stakeholders, across all Business areas, and brands including Premier Inns, Costa Coffee and Beefeater Restaurants to establish the strategic operational model and business requirements.

Transport for London (TfL)

Project management of a cross-function team to review data management for a newly created HR Shared Service. Improve the perception of the HR Shared Service and improve data validity.

ACG Technology

Working with the ACG Management Team, Charthan House developed a Quality Management System that was independently assessed by BSI. Charthan House also provided support and assistance for a Health and Safety Management System.

Gambling Commission

Interim HR Director providing expertise for all HR related elements within the transition project for the creation of the Gambling Commission. Creation of an organisation to meet the requirements of the new Gambling Act 2005, and to establish the Head Office in Birmingham.

Project Management for a major compensation and benefits review. The project included a re-structuring programme, the implementation of new broadband grading scheme and harmonisation of Terms and Conditions of Employment. Also introduced a programme on-line discounts and flexible benefits.

InHealth

Interim HR Director services for the Diagnostics and Imaging Division of InHealth. Complete review all HR activities, and implement of projects to build stability into the HR function. Provided expert advice to a number of large bids to provide clinical and medical Services to the NHS and DH.

Charthan House programme managed a wide range of Global HR projects and the HR Transformation Programme. It developed and presented a number of business cases and proposals to the senior leadership team.

Charthan House also managed the global roll-out of cloud-based Core HRIS and payroll applications, and the review, update and harmonisation of HR Policies and Procedures.

Ministry of Justice

Programme Management of a large number of HR projects within the HR Transformation Project portfolio established as a result of the formation of the Ministry of Justice in May 2007.

Frimley Health Foundation Trust

Established programme to create a Wholly Owned Subsidiary. Creation of HR and Finance departments and transfer of non-clinical staff to the new entity. Development of HR strategy, including structure, L&D, Recruitment, Policy, HRIS and Payroll. Development and implementation of communication and engagement strategy. Forecasted savings of in circa £8 million.

UK Research and Innovation

Structured extensive HR Strategy and transition plan to transfer nine Non-Departmental Public Bodies (NDPBs) with 9000 staff to one business entity, UKRI, in accordance with the Higher Education Act.

Led and managed HR programme to streamline daily HR operations; managed extensive HR/communication projects and established an organisation in accordance to TUPE/COSoP guidelines.

Department for Education (with Public Private Associates)

In association with Public Private associates, Charthan House provided all project management activities for the London Academy project through feasibility and implementation phases.  Charthan House provided expert HR resources for the HR intervention including organisation design, re-structuring and governance. Developed ‘Vision and Values’, and communication strategy for London Academy.

Nottinghamshire Police – East Midlands Strategic Unit (EMSCU)    

Charthan House provided HR and technical expertise for the management of a major business change and HR transformation programme merging Nottinghamshire Police Force with Northants and Cheshire forces as part of a Multi-Force Shared Services (MFSS) solution. The programme included:

he establishment of multi-force governance arrangements for the development of strategic aims, budgets, resources and implementation timelines.

 - the creation of a new Enterprise (ERP) solution covering 

   Finance, HR, Payroll, Procurement and Training.

 - Introduction of a new Duties Management system (DMS) 

   solution to manage operational policing activities.

 - Collaborative working across all forces both with

   Operational Police Officer teams, Police Staff, Volunteers

   and Specials, to establish future Target Operating model 

   through the ‘Delivering the Future’ Programme.

Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC)

Charthan House provided the HR Management support for the 'DECC Future' Change Programme and re-structuring to meet the UK Government Spending restrictions. It also provided support to the 'Outsourcing' of HR Services.

Transition Management for a number of transfer and integration projects. Providing advice on bid responses for Business Process Outsourced (BPO) solutions and HR support through all stages of project implementation, including transitioning staff, redeployment and redundancies.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission (CWGC) honours the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth forces who died in the First and Second World Wars.
